Lady Moon Farms kale is firm and bristly. It has a deep green or purple color, a fresh smell and is never wilted or limp.
Storage
Store in the refrigerator in a tightly sealed plastic bag. To extend storage life, cut bottoms of stalks to expose fresh ends, and place in a heavy glass filled with water. Cover the kale and glass with a plastic bag.
Nutrition
Kale is high in Vitamin K, Vitamin C and beta carotene. It is a favorite among those who enjoy juicing because of its high chlorophyl content.
